Meet Barbara, Your Innkeeper

Barbara grew up in a historic New England community on the Connecticut coast.  In 1984 she relocated to Florida however she knew she wanted to get back to the traditions and seasons of the Northeast.  Barbara received her undergrad and graduate degrees (MBA and Master’s in Leadership) while in Florida.  With over 30 years of experience working in finance in various roles she can apply much of her background toward creating an excellent guest experience.

In 2022, Barbara fulfilled her dreams of returning to New England and running a bed and breakfast. The Inn of Park Street is an 1860 grand Victorian.  Located on prestigious Park Street with it’s wide avenue and sidewalks into town, she immediately fell in love with the Inn and the town.  Brandon is a classic New England village dubbed the “Art and Soul” of Vermont.  Over the years, Barbara has enjoyed traveling and staying in bed and breakfasts and is looking forward to sharing her most enjoyable experiences with her guests.

Brandon invites you to experience the art galleries, studios, restaurants, and four-season outdoor recreation.  During your time at the Inn, we invite you to play a board game, put together a puzzle, or fall in love with a book from one of our many shelves.  As your night winds down during the spring and summer enjoy a glass of wine on the beautiful, large front porch.  During the fall and winter months enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or tea by the wood burning fireplace.  Barbara is committed to making your stay at the Inn both relaxing and enjoyable.
